Frequently Asked Questions
How is your approach different than a regular doctor?
In my practice I focus on connecting with my patients, giving you the space to share your unique story, and I take an individualized and holistic approach to your care. We’re a team and together we work on uncovering the root cause of your symptoms and healing them. Our first appointment together can range anywhere from 60-90 minutes depending on the complexity of your case. From there, I typically run functional lab tests such as the Dutch test for hormones or GI Maps for stool analysis to help me build an individualized and targeted approach for your unique physiology. I use a combination of herbal & nutrient based supplements and lifestyle changes to get you feeling like your best self again!
What is the difference between an nd and md?
A licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) attends a four year CNME accredited medical school. The CNME is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and classifies NDs as Doctorate Professional degrees, similar to MDs and DOs.
During Naturopathic Medical school, the first two years are allocated to basic sciences (anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, and more), similar to MD curriculum. The final two years are allocated to clinical sciences, including diagnosis & treatment (both allopathic and naturopathic approach) and hands on clinical rotations.
In order for a ND to become licensed, they must pass two national exams, NPLEX1 which covers the basic sciences learned the first two years and NPLEX2 which covers the clinical sciences learned the final two years.
Upon graduating, NDs have both the knowledge of allopathic care including standard pharmaceutical approaches as well as a vast toolkit of holistic approaches that include herbal medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, physical medicine, and more.
Keep in mind that a licensed ND is very different than a naturopath! When seeking out the care of an ND, always make sure that they have attended a four year accredited program and are licensed.

I do not accept any form of insurance. All prices are transparent and include no hidden fees!
DO YOU TAKE CLIENTS OUTSIDE OF THE US?
Unfortunately I do not.
If i do the package plan, what happens after the 3 appointments?
I offer the package plan because I believe it takes a minimum of 3 months to see real solidified and long lasting changes in your health. From there, I offer two options for how to book future appointments - you can continue with another package plan or you can book appointments one at a time as needed. This is something we’ll discuss further in depth once we are working together.
